He joined the First Nations Venture Capital of Quebec (FNVCQ) in 2004 in the capacity of Investment Manager and is now its General Manager. The First Nations Venture Capital of Quebec is a professional organization with the primary mandate of providing coaching and financial support to Aboriginal businesses involved in start-up, expansion, recovery and acquisition projects. In 2001, Mr. Sioui obtained a Bachelor of Administration (B.A.A.) from Bishop's University in Lennoxville. Thereafter, in 2003, he completed the prestigious Master of Finance (Msc) program at the Université de Sherbrooke. During the same period, he was admitted to the Ordre des comptables généraux accrédités du Québec CGA. Prior to joining the FNVCQ, Mr. Sioui acquired a wealth of professional experience with the central finance department at Hydro-Québec and with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a financial consultant. Mr. Sioui is the son of a Huron-Wendat father and a Innu mother. |
